Wyatt is a sought-after DJ and record collector based in the Mojave Desert. Over the past decade, Wyatt has DJed at numerous events including the dance music festival Dekmantel São Paulo 2018, indie music festival Desert Daze 2018 and the secret disco party at Hush Hush Coachella 2019.
Wyatt grew up by the beach in Southern California and spent his formative years surfing in competitions. His musical journey started when he obtained two vintage Technics turntables, leading him to become a vinyl collector as he explored local record shops digging in dollar bins, all while mastering the art of DJing on turntables. Today, he has quietly established himself as one of the premiere vinyl DJs, with the ability to seamlessly mix both vinyl and digital tracks. He also possesses the rare skill of performing all-vinyl sets. While Wyatt enjoys listening to all music genres, he specializes in house, funk, disco, indie pop and international music. Wyatt’s club DJ experience has included residencies at The Ace, The Standard, Dirty Laundry, Gold Diggers, The Saguaro, The Freehand, and Apotheke.
As a party host active in the Los Angeles underground warehouse scene of the 2010s, his most recent project Heat-Wave developed a cult following and featured a deep selection of international funk and disco records from all over the world. From 2016-2019, Heat-Wave hosted guest DJs from all over the world including Japan, Brazil, Korea, Mexico, Armenia, Greece, Germany, and India. This blend of international guests brought a unique mix of music lovers together under one roof for the same cause. Heat-Wave was featured as one of NTS Radio’s selectors at The Ace's Desert Gold 2018 and also acclaimed in the LA Times. By popular demand, Wyatt took Heat-Wave on tour in New York City, San Diego, San Francisco, Miami, Mexico, and Japan. With his unique talent and credentials, Wyatt has continued to captivate audiences in recent years as a private event DJ and music curator, working with clients like Amazon, General Electric, T-Mobile, and ILIA.
In 2020, Wyatt began living full-time in Landers, California, embracing the desert lifestyle. Inspired by the natural world that surrounds us, Wyatt values his time outdoors. His passions include gardening, snowboarding, surfing, and capturing nature through photography. In addition to these pursuits, Wyatt continues to build his collection of rare records, while developing Supermoon’s artist studio and event space.
